Grass-finished beef is typically lower in total fat and lower in saturated fat than conventional grain-finished beef. By choosing beef from cattle that spend their entire lives in pastures, they do not accumulate fat the way feedlot cattle eating high-energy corn and soy often do. Grass-finished beef offers far more omega-3 fatty acids, Vitamin E, Beta-carotene, Vitamin K2 and even minerals like iron, zinc, selenium, B12, only in a cleaner fat matrix.

Pura Vida Miami sources its steak from Australia, known for some of the highest-quality beef and most rigorous standards in the world for cattle raising. Our suppliers offer “certified humane raised and handled” which means that its cattle receive the highest quality diets, housing and care throughout their lives. The cattle are raised in natural pastures where they are entirely grass-fed and are never given added hormones or antibiotics. To confirm that these standards are always followed, Pura Vida Miami’s supplier also belongs to the National Livestock Identification System (NLIS) database which monitors cattle through every stage of their lives.
Sustainability is also incredibly important to Pura Vida Miami. So it chose a supplier that says it prioritizes using sustainable packaging, supports regenerative agriculture as well as less waste and water. Pura Vida’s supplier also supports the red meat industry goal of being carbon neutral by 2030.
